Medi (with Sound Healing)

Suitable for: All levels and abilities. Note: please bring with you your own Yoga mat and blanket for the session!

Description: Do you want to quieten your thoughts, improve the quality of your mind and settle your nervous system? Come along to Marnie Yoga’s group Meditation classes to learn and practice a range of meditations focused on the following: mantra, breathing, visualisation, chanting, mindfulness, acceptance, loving kindness, and healing.

To start the session, you will remain seated on comfortable chairs and follow Marnie’s guided Meditation, followed by a lying down practice to soak up the vibrational energy from the Sound Meditation lead by the Chinese Wind Gong and Himalayan/Crystal singing bowls!

Time: 09:30-10:30

Upcoming class dates: 22nd February 2025, 22nd March 09:30-11:00 (with an added 30 mins for the Spring Equinox Special!), 26th April 09:30-10:30

Location: The Acklam Green Centre.

Price: £10 per class. Must be paid for in advance.

Monday Morning Hatha Vinyasa

Suitable for: All levels and abilities. Note: please bring with you your own Yoga mat for the session!

Description: Both Monday classes are a mixture of Hatha & Ashtanga Vinyasa style Yoga. They consist of breathing practices with physical movement, postures and mindfulness. Some brief relaxation and meditation closes the practice.

Time: 09:30-11:00

Location: The Studio, based at Acklam Shops. There is an online Zoom class available too!

Price: £8 per class – it’s better to block book for 4 classes to secure a regular place. (No discount for block bookings).

Monday Evening Hatha Vinyasa

Suitable for: All levels and abilities. Note: please bring with you your own Yoga mat for the session!

Description: Both Monday classes are a mixture of Hatha & Ashtanga Vinyasa style Yoga. They consist of breathing practices with physical movement, postures and mindfulness. Some brief relaxation and meditation closes the practice.

Time: 18:30-19:45

Wednesday Morning Yogalates

Suitable for: All levels and abilities.

Description: Wednesday Yogalates is a mixture of Yoga and Pilates. Yogalates improves core strength and posture, whilst increasing suppleness and reducing stiffness and tightness.

Time: 09:00-10:00

Location: Zoom (online class)

Price: £5 per class.

Thursday Evening Vinyasa Flow

Suitable for: Intermediate/Advanced level, not for Beginners. Note: please bring with you your own Yoga mat for the session!

Description: Thursday class is a mixture of Tai Chi, Yoga & Pilates. This class is suitable for students who have participated in Yoga before as it has a faster flow to follow.

Time: 18:00-19:00

Location: The Acklam Green Centre. There is an online Zoom class available too!

Price: £7 per class – it’s better to block book for 4 classes to secure a regular place. (No discount for block bookings).

– A range of options, alternatives & modifications are provided for all.

– Please bring your own Yoga mat to every class and private 1:1 session.

– Please bring a blanket for the relaxation at the end of the session.
